Dr. Brian Zachariah

Dr. Brian Zachariah

Dr. Zachariah is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. He completed undergraduate training in biochemistry & molecular biology from Houston Baptist University, obtained his medical doctorate from AUA College of Medicine, and completed residency training at SUNY University at Buffalo.

Dr. Zachariah has worked in various Veterans Affairs locations including residential settings that focused on PTSD and Substance Use. He previously worked in the Baylor Health Care System and specialize in treatment-resistant mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and medication-assisted treatment for substance use.

We are proud and honored to have him join the Nurocoach team, and appreciate his deep knowledge and care for the local community around Bryan-College Station. His personal philosophy lines up perfectly with Nurocoach: focusing on a patient-centered approach, psychoeducation, and treatment tailored to each person's unique needs. He is particularly excited to offer evidence-based non-drug treatments to help his patients, in his own words: "After working in settings focused on medication management I was able to see the limitations it can impose (lack of efficacy, side effects, etc). I’m happy to be able to offer interventional options that include neurostimulation and esketamine for our patients."

When he's not helping people as a psychiatrist, Dr. Zachariah enjoys working out, cooking, spending time with his two sons, and watching football.
