Kristan Bryars-Kucera

Hello, I’m Kristan Bryars, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach and Integrative Nutrition Coach. I’ve been on my own health journey for many years, starting from a place of burnout and imbalance after a decade in the corporate world. That experience taught me just how important it is to take charge of our own well-being and how powerful support can be when you’re trying to make lasting change.

Now, through my work with Nurocoach, I help others reconnect with their health and discover what balance and vitality look like for them. As a coach, I don’t tell you what to do; I walk alongside you, helping you uncover your own strengths, set meaningful goals, and build the habits that support the life you want to live.

My coaching is grounded in the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) standards, which means our work together is client-led, evidence-based, and designed to empower you. I’m here to support you in creating sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes that align with your values and vision. Whether you’re navigating stress, struggling with energy, or just feeling out of sync with your body, you’re not alone and you’re not broken.

Together, we’ll explore what well-being looks like for you, celebrate your wins, and create space for real, lasting growth. And when needed, I collaborate with your healthcare providers to help support any treatment plans you’re already following.

At Nurocoach, we believe health isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress, intention, and self-discovery. Wherever you are right now is the perfect place to begin.

Let’s take that first step together.

Melissa Perrone

My approach to therapy is rooted in authenticity and genuine conversation. I strive to create a space where both client and therapist can show up as real, human, and fully present. I believe that healing starts with understanding—and that often means exploring how your past, especially childhood experiences, family dynamics, and formative relationships, has shaped your beliefs,
patterns, and worldview.

I’m deeply passionate about trauma work, as I believe unresolved trauma is often at the root of many emotional, physical, and mental health challenges. While I don’t subscribe to the idea of being “fully healed,” I do believe that with insight and the right support, you can learn to move through life’s difficulties in a way that feels more grounded, authentic, and aligned with who you truly are.

Your story is unique, and your therapy should be too. I tailor each session to your individual needs, drawing from a variety of trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches—including Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Attachment Theory. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Trauma, Suicidal Ideation, Grief and Loss, Substance Use, and the complex intersection of mental health and chronic illness, including cancer.
